Designed in partnership with team rider Ben Kadow and inspired by Ben’s one of a kind aesthetic, the Vans Skate SK8-Hi also arrives as part of Vans’ latest Skate Classics collection. Styled with mixed material suede and stitched nylon uppers, these darkened skate shoes pay homage to the autumn months with their spider web themed aesthetic, whilst the POPCUSH energy returning sockliner and the reinforced DURACAP underlays pair well with the knurled bold black foxing tape for increased durability and undoubted structural support. SICKSTICK rubber compounding delivers an enhanced sense of boardfeel, with Vans’ classic Waffle tread rubber outsole styled to deliver increased grip regardless of terrain. Rounded laces complement the 8 eyelet lacing system to secure the tonal embroidered tongue across the natural arch of the foot, whilst the embroidered spider web detailings across the padded midfoot quarters are paired with a classic Black Jazz stripe in honour of tradition. Custom ‘Ben Kadow x Vans Skateboarding’ spider web themed insoles honour the design’s Skate Classics collection assignment, with an all-black ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scab sealing the silhouette in honour of its after-dark, gothic aesthetic.
